Great value on the Professional license

Pretty cool Excel add-in

So I grabbed the SQL Professional version a bit ago. Man, it's pretty neat how you can just use SQL inside Excel. Like, I used to export stuff or mess with Power Query, but this is way more chill. Helpful, but small issues

I purchased a QueryStorm Business License for our team, mainly for the Automated Excel Reports and .NET Excel Integration features. Overall, it's been a significant improvement for our data workflow. The ability to use C# in Excel directly has opened up a lot of possibilities we didn't have before. Installation was straightforward, though it took a few tries to get everyone's settings just right on different Excel versions. The support team was responsive when we had a question about licensing, which was a plus. My main minor gripe is that sometimes it feels a tiny bit slow with very large datasets, though it's still faster than our old methods. Good value for what it offers, just hoping for some speed optimization down the line.

It's a one-time purchase for the license, not a subscription. You get updates for a year, I think, and then you can renew for further updates if you want, but the license itself is perpetual.

how does QueryStorm compare to Power Query? I'm pretty familiar with PQ but wondering if QueryStorm is a big upgrade or just different.

QueryStorm lets you use actual SQL and C# right in Excel, which is a HUGE difference from Power Query's M language. For complex stuff, it's way more powerful.

PQ is good for basic stuff but QueryStorm lets you do real database-level operations and custom scripts within Excel. It's a different league if you need that kind of control.
